JOSÉ PEDRO CROFT

José Pedro Croft was born in Porto in 1957. He lives and works in Lisbon. He studied painting at ESBAL and studied sculpture with João Cutileiro. His work is a seamless transition between sculpture, drawing and engraving. Among the many collections where his work is represented are: Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Helga de Alvear, Spain; Centro de Arte Moderna – Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation; EDP Foundation; Serralves Museum, Portugal; Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Spain; Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Pinacoteca de São Paulo, Brazil; European Central Bank, Germany; Centre Pompidou, France.
